Podcast Fever
I’ve known about Podcasting for a few years now. To be honest, I’ve never paid that much attention to the subject. Until recently. Last week, I sought out a couple of specific NPR shows to add to my iPod. I was thrilled to download free MP3 podcasts to my iPod from the NPR website.
Soon after that, I clicked the Podcasts link within iTunes. For years, I have ignored the link and never gave it a second glance. Boy, was I wearing blinders! No longer. Now I have podcast fever. I am floored by all of the free podcast offerings I found through iTunes. Yes, I said FREE! I think this is the coolest resource I have ever stumbled upon. Where have I been? Now I can have hours of education and entertainment without spending a dime. If you haven’t delved into the world of free podcasts yet, you are really missing out. Try some for yourself. There is sure to be something for everyone!

Podcasts are quickly becoming all I listen to in my car. This American Life and Radiolab are musts. Skeptoid is another good one if you’re into rational discussion of pseudoscience, conspiracy theories, and urban myths.
Chris, after reading your reply, I subscribed to This American Life. It was great and very captivating. I’m now a fan. I haven’t checked out Skeptoid yet, but will. How Stuff Works is another good listen.
