Remembering Microsoft Comic Chat

Does anyone remember the cool comic-strip chat program on Windows that Microsoft called Comic Chat? I was just remembering that program today, and decided to look up a few screenshots to remember it by. At the time, I used to think this was the coolest program. Microsoft made the program in 1996, but killed it after the last release in 1998 (version 2.5). It was so much fun to play with! I wish they’d make a new version of this, perhaps web-based, that we can all enjoy. What fun it would be.

If people know how to run this, I am trying to start a chat room on an irc server that people can connect to using Comic Chat and reminisce, if you will, haha. If one is using Win 7, there are steps here: http://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/Package-Accelerator-for-97080d2c on how to get it started and this is the server settings I used here: http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/2508/connecttocchat.png for hopefully starting a Comic Chat room again. Haha, I’m a nub at this stuff, but I figured it’s worth a try..
