Californication
I love the new Showtime series Californication. Okay, so it’s not that new, since season two is slated to start airing later this summer. I rented the DVDs for Season One via Netflix. We watched all of the episodes and we both really got into it. It stars David Duchovny. He is an absolute hoot playing the character of Hank Moody. He seems such a natural in his role. It’s really fun to watch, and it always leaves you wanting more.
In a lot of ways, it reminds me of the old HBO series Dream On, which I liked to watch in the early 90s. Just like Martin Tupper from Dream On, Hank Moody in Californication gets more T&A than you can believe! The cast, plot, dialogue, and gritty nature of this show blend together fabulously. I’m going to have to sign back up for Showtime once this show and Dexter start their new seasons!
