Site
updated 12.10.11
I wrote my first blog entry on December 2, 2005. In the beginning, the domain for my blog was blitzcraig.net, but I mistakenly let my registration expire in 2006. Since that debacle, I registered a new domain name at blitzcraig.org, where I remained until June 2009. On June 27, 2009, I finally stole the .com domain and moved this blog to blitzcraig.com, where it will remain forevermore.
I have cancelled both my blitzcraig.net and blitzcraig.org domains.
I moved this entire website and blog database to a new registrar and hosting service effective February 19, 2011. The new host gives me far more control over the inner-workings of my site. I’m very pleased.
Site Revisions:
- I have added a Food category since I’ve made a number of posts on the subject. (12.10.11)
- I finally succeeded at re-enabling the navigation bar at the bottom of the page. (11.13.11)
- I have replaced the outdated word counter on my site with a more advanced plug-in that provides more statistics, however it is now the case that only I can view those stats within the WordPress Dashboard. (11.13.11)
- I added a Google +1 button to all blog posts. (07.27.11)
- I added a “print friendly” link on post pages so you can cleanly print a post or even save it as a PDF file. Using this feature will display an ad from the plugin creators, but I think that is a small price to pay for such terrific functionality. (06.19.11)
